QuickDraw:  Art in the Making

Observe professional artists create works of art in one fast-paced hour, then bid on their finished artwork in an auction to benefit Haywood County School art programs and students.

Promoting Art, Benefitting Students

QuickDraw taps into the rich cultural heritage of Western North Carolina through a venue which lets you observe fine artists and craftsmen creating original art in a limited time format.

Artists work in a variety of media, including oil, watercolor, pastel, carved wood, pottery, jewelry, painted furniture, welded steel, woodturning, textile weaving, gourds, stained glass, basketry, sculpture, and mixed media.

The purpose of QuickDraw is to promote Western North Carolina as an arts and crafts destination. Proceeds benefit young emerging artists through scholarships which encourage and inspire further study. QuickDraw also supports teachers with minigrants for supplies and resources.
